For quite a while I’ve been annoyed with the state of theological audio content on the internet. It lives in silos, is difficult to browse and search, and is often presented with very user-unfriendly restrictions.¹ Further, most of the time no one has gone to the effort to separate the wheat from the chaff – or at least the true from the false.² As a producer and publisher of audio content, including on this site, it’s also far more difficult than it ought to be to get the content online.

Today I launch my tiny, pebble into the pond, attempt to fix that: Sound Words. Admittedly a bit narcissistic from the start,³ the goal is for this audio library to grow over time into something that is browse-able, searchable and useful. Right now you’re able to search by series and by book of the Bible. In the coming weeks we will add keywords as well. Many thanks to Letterblock for building our CMS and, I have no doubt, charging far less than it’s worth.
